Join us again for the 7th Annual Pedal Harder Ride to remember the life of our friend and family member, Glen Lapp. Glen was finishing up a two-year post, volunteering in Afghanistan when he and his team of nine other medical camp technicians were ambushed and killed in 2010. We have hosted group bicycle rides in his honor every year since then.
Join us for the following:
New Start Location: Harvest Bible Church, 1460 Eden Road in Lancaster

- 9:30 am 25 mile ride – Miller’s Crossing
- 9:30 am 5k walk/ride (family friendly)
- 11:00 am Ice Cream Social at Ernie and Mary’s House
We are not collecting registration fees this year but if you would like to donate to a Nepal Relief fund click here. Donations go to Skychaser’s Charitable Foundation, a non-profit founded by Jerry and Mary Ellen in June of 2015 for the purpose of supporting Nepal after the earthquake.

Glen was an adventurer and humanitarian; these are a few of the qualities that led him to Afghanistan. To continue these legacies we will again be remembering him on the bicycle along with raising money for humanitarian causes close to his heart. Glen worked as a nurse throughout much of his adult life, using his R.N. degree to provide medical care to those in need from Supai, AZ to Lancaster, PA, New York City, and on to Afghanistan.
